Pastor Sam's Bio

Hello and welcome to Sidewalk Ministries, My name is Rev. Samuel Mohler. I am a grateful follower and believer of Jesus Christ, who is so very passionate about sharing God's word with others. I was called into this ministry by God in 2020 during the Covid pandemic and began to form Sidewalk Ministries in the early months of 2021. 

I was born in Bakersfield California in 1990 to a very loving mother and father, who were and still are both very devoted christians. My father has been a Minister my entire life, so as a preacher's son I have always wanted to follow in my father's foot steps. Throughout my younger youth years I was heavly involved in church. Starting into my teen years I began to stray away from my faith and church because unfortunately I was devastated by the divorce of my parents and the speration of our home. From age 13 to 19 I fell into many worldly temptations including using various Drugs, drinking Alcohol, and even partaking in criminal activity. By age 18 I was married and soon after expecting to become a father. When I turned 21 years old I formed a new founded passion of law enforcement, so I laid aside my drug use and criminal mischief for a better way of life. But, still drank Alcohol occasionally. By the age of 23 I was a husband and father of two beautiful daughters. As at this point I was back involved in church and was striving to give my life back to God. But, sadly by age 24 I experienced my worst nightmare. The speration and divorce of my wife and I due to infidelity. This crushed me and sent me into a downward spiral once again. Depression and even suicidal thoughts and actions smothered me for 3 years. During the latter of this time I had a son out of wedlock. But I wouldn't change that for anything. By the time I was 28 years old I had custody of all three of my children and God began to really start working on me. This was the point in my life where my story turns around. I experienced a breakthrough one Sunday night service and totally and utterly gave my life over to God's will for me. When I was 29 years old God had revealed to me his calling for me and when I turned 30 years old I sought after it and became a minister through the PCG (Pentecostal Church of God). This is also the year I formed Sidewalk Ministries.
